GERIATRICIAN  – DR. ADAM IDRIS

Consultant Physician and Geriatrician
Monash University (2007)
Member of the Royal Australasian and New Zealand College of Physicians (2014)

Dr Idris holds a public position in Monash Health, as the Deputy Director of General Medicine in Dandenong Hospital where he has admitting rights. He is also the Medical Lead of the Monash Health Residential InReach unit, providing care for patients in residential aged care facilities.

Dr Idris’ geriatric interests include Dementia and it’s associated behavioural symptoms, Residential Aged Care, Frailty, Chronic Pain and Advanced Care Planning. His other interests include Complex Care, General Medicine, and Preventative health in the elderly.

In addition to English, Dr Idris is also fluent in Malay.

 

GERIATRICIAN  – DR. CHIA PEI CHONG

Dr Chong completed her medical degree at Monash University and has a Fellowship in continence through Alfred and Eastern Health. She also has a strong interests in complex care, polypharmacy, dementia and memory loss, falls and balance, chronic wound care. She is passionate in improving the health and quality of life of her patients.

Dr Chong is fluent in multiple languages including Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay.

 

AUDIOLOGIST – JULIAN HINVEST

Julian Hinvest has 20 years clinical experience as an audiologist in both public and private clinics in Australia, New Zealand and in the UK. Julian holds a Master of Audiology degree from the University of Auckland. He is a full member of the Audiological Society of Australia and maintains his practising certificate.

He is an accredited audiologist for the Commonwealth Hearing Services Program and for WorkSafe Victoria.

 

ENDOCRINOLOGIST (DIABETIC SPECIALIST) – DR ZEMIN CAO 

Dr Cao has special interest in the management of diabetes, thyroid disorders and general endocrine abnormalities.

GASTROENTEROLOGIST – DR JACQUI DOBSON 

Dr Dobson is a consultant gastroenterologist, who trained at the Alfred Hospital and at the Austin Hospital Liver Transplant Unit.

She has ongoing involvement at the Austin Hospital, and has been involved in research into hepatology and obesity.
